 Trouble no one about their religion
 남의 종교를 욕하지 말고,
 
 respect others in their view and demand that they respect yours
 모두의 의견을 존중하며 너 또한 그들에게 존중을 받아라

 
 Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life
 너의 인생을 사랑하고, 완벽하게 만들고, 아름답게 하여라
 
  Perpare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide
 결단의 순간이 오는 날을 위해, 죽음을 늘 준비하라
 
  Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger when in a lonely place
 친구를 만날때나, 떠나보낼때, 심지어 그가 외로운 이방인 일지라도, 경의가 담긴 인사를 해 주어라
 
  Show respect to all people and grovel to none
 세상 모두를 존중할지언정 절대 굴복하지 마라
 
  When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living
 매일아침 일어날때 양식과 삶의 즐거움에 감사하라
 
  If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself
 감사할 이유를 알지 못한다면, 그 잘못은 오로지 너에게만 있을 것이다
